HydroClenz Marine is the safe and effective way to inhibit the growth of Legionella and other harmful waterborne bacteria in cold and tepid water in marine storage tanks.
The HydroClenz Marine cartridges, using IONamix™ media technology, provide constant protection from pathogenic bacteria, while also preventing the build-up of scale, biofilm and rust that can result in conditions that encourage the bacteria to thrive. Water flow is also protected as valves and other mechanical control items are protected from scale.
HydroClenz products are used in water storage tanks by safety shower manufacturers worldwide and are ideally suited to a similar use in marine craft.
Easy to Install and Use
HydroClenz Marine cartridges are non-chemical, non-powered, environmentally friendly in their use, and cost effective. The cartridges are simply immersed in the body of water, and the protection process begins immediately.

Using IONamix™ media technology, involving a combination of active ceramics and noble metal matrix, a powerful natural disinfectant process takes place, through a combination of oxidation and ionisation, which disrupts the replication of any waterborne bacteria and prevents them from reaching levels dangerous to health.
Prevention of Biofilm, Scale and Corrosion
The nature of the process also results in balancing the pH value of the water, resulting in the inhibition of scale, bio-film and rust.
3 Year Protection and Low Maintenance
The HydroClenz Marine cartridge provides protection for up to 3 years. Apart from regular monitoring of the water system to ensure compliance with current legislation, and the removal of sediment from the product, no further maintenance is required.

The performance of IONamix media has been proven by tests undertaken in UKAS accredited laboratories. The components of the product are WRAS approved.
